Job Description:
Qualcomm is seeking highly motivated and creative Associate Engineers who are eager to explore innovative solutions across multiple technology domains such as Multimedia, Wireless Communication, Embedded Systems, IoT, and Software Platforms.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work on next-generation technologies, including:
Multimedia Technologies: Audio and video codecs, image processing, and graphics.

Wireless Modem Technologies: 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and self-organizing networks.

Software Platforms: Linux, Android, and Windows BSP (Board Support Packages).

IoT Solutions: Connected devices such as smart cameras, drones, AR/VR systems, and voice assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and integrate real-time embedded software and device drivers.

Contribute to mobile software development on Android, Windows, or Linux platforms.

Work on multimedia software stacks, firmware, and drivers.

Develop wireless modem and connectivity firmware/software.

Participate in protocol stack development and UI/application development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable software solutions.

Skills & Competencies Required:
Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ and object-oriented design.

Solid understanding of Operating System concepts and data structures.

Familiarity with Linux/UNIX kernel development and device driver design.

Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, and RTP.

Exposure to multimedia processing, wireless standards (GSM/CDMA/LTE), or embedded software is a plus.
