Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should possess a B.E/B.Tech degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields).

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of software design and development methodologies.
• Experience in embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) development.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Programming (C/C++).
• Hands-on experience in Python scripting and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and version control tools such as Git, SVN, Jira, or Crucible.
• Exposure to storage management systems or firmware testing is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Eclipse IDE or similar development environments.

Preferred Technical Competencies:

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Understanding of multi-threaded RTOS applications, Linux device drivers, and inter-process communication.
• Experience in debugging tools such as GDB Debugger.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test firmware components for Seagate’s storage solutions.
• Participate in requirement analysis, code reviews, and software documentation.
• Assist in developing innovative solutions to customer issues by working closely with support and product teams.
• Engage in Agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery of quality firmware modules.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical deliverables.
